Anybody in Bloomington IN?!?!?!?

I'm looking for any musicians in Bloomington IN. who are interested in possibly putting together a band to play original tunes and gig locally. I listen to a variety of music but was hoping to put something together along the lines of 'indie rock' (whatever that is). I guess something that would be along the lines of Built to Spill, grandaddy, flaming lips, sonic youth, seam, pixies, smashing pumpkins, gbv, basically something that has some interesting guitar riffs with a nice fusion of electronic instruments and wierd ecletic sounds yet is still rock/pop. I play mainly play guitar but I'm also pretty decent on bass and keyboards. In addition, I have a small project studio. Drop me a line at meblumen@indiana.edu if your interested.

I have a friend there whose wife is in grad school at IU studying clarinet. His name is Matthew Everhart (her name is Jennifer) and Matt is an excellent bass player and recording engineer. I beleve he's also a Tape Op subscriber. Drop me a line and I'll give you a contact number.
