Has anyone else caught wind that QUAD is following in the footsteps of Unique, and soon closing their doors?
Two major NYC studios in as many months. Damn shame.

I hope it happens soon...............I'm getting tired of waiting.......
I wouldn't be surprised actually........given the current economics of the biz.......rob141nyc wrote:Has anyone else caught wind that QUAD is following in the footsteps of Unique, and soon closing their doors?

Well, when this was posted 2 weeks ago, we(me and rob) and heard that a few people called the studio we are at with the rumor... Its obviously not so true considering that theyre still up and going. My buddy works their and hasnt heard anyhting of it. They did get rid of 2 floors months ago and a G console... I think the rumor came because the owner was in Nashville for a bit with the other Quad down there. Yet again they could still be up because business has gotten better for everyone since Unique went under. The only downside is everyone expects their Unique Rates...
Re: QUAD Studios - NYC
........a little better at that...........not much, but a little..................and those who have been expecting to get Unique rates elsewhere got quite a shock too .........more frustration rather than shock.......not gunna find many big studios with that type of equipment willing to bend to what Unique was asking per day........those lucky enough to, my hats off to ya!AnthonyGallo wrote:Yet again they could still be up because business has gotten better for everyone since Unique went under.
