wake up wake up

Post by ottokbre » Tue Jul 01, 2003 9:20 am

my mama used to always sing annoying wake up songs to get me outta bed in the morning. funny thing is, i can't wake up w/o a good track in the CD player.

So I've reverted to Talk Talk's Laughing Stock this week. It's slow moving, like me pre-caffineated. Makes the groggies actually feel good.

Those drums! Good Lawd dem drums iz so good!

Now is this post about wake up music or Talk Talk? hmmm..need more coffee..

I have never heard it but it sounds cool. On my drive to work most mornings I listen Mogwai EP+2. The first 2 or 3 songs are really cool. Gets me ready for staring at my desk for 8 hours. I also really like Sondre Lerche with my OJ and toast.

that is what i thought. then i bought it sound unheard.

it sounds sort of like mogwai, if they hired a very "emotive" singer, singing very "deep" "poetic" lyrics and hired a fretless bass player to noodle over everything.
