Not to steal your thunder Blameshifter, but if someone could xerox me just the Olivia Tremor Control and/or Neutral Milk Hotel articles (issues 17 and 11), I'd be willing to pay for copies, postage, burn ya a mix CD ... whatever. PM me if you have these articles.

http://www.tapeop.com/magazine/backissues/index.html

I suggest Quimby's over Zerotec-- Zerotec *STILL* hasn't sent me issue #18 (it's now been 3 months) and their prices on the early issues are at $12 a pop, whereas Quimby's is still $3.50.
Damn Zerotec. Damn them to hell. I can't even find a damn phone number to complain to.,..,

go quimbys.

I have quite a few that I was thinking of putting on ebay, but I was like, who the fuck would buy TapeOp? Anyway, they are in not so good condition. Like they have been read over and over and over. Get it?

5, 6, 7, 8, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22.

I really need some cash for my habit... records.

UHHHHHH, How about hundreds of people lining up to put $20 in my hand for 6 back issues at TapeOpCon#2 in pdx? Really, I sold hundreds of pounds of magazines in a few hours. People seemed happy to be able to buy issues that they missed.

Yeah, TapeOp isn't Tremaine's Audio Cyclopedia, but it's cool to read what people are doing since 1969.

Get to sellin' those old issues to people who want 'em!

Cheers.

oh crap, i bought the most recent issue from zerotec after my copy of the may/june (well, most recent, whichever it is) issue got lost, so it sucks to be me i guess. i bought it a couple of weeks ago, there's $3.50 down the drain.

it hardly compares to the time i bought tape from tapetape.com and it never came and they never responded to my complaints (lost $18 there), or the time i bought anything made by danelectro and it turned out to be a broken piece of shit (THREE SEPARATE ITEMS, let's not talk about how much money i wasted there!)
