Engineering position sought in Austin, TX

Hello!
My name is Randall Squires, and I am a self confessed Audio Engineer.

My whole life I have been inside of the recording industry, it is all I have ever known. I am new to Austin, and therefore not in contact with the people who make the industry in this great town go around. I would like a chance to talk more with you about the industry here, whom I should make contact with, and where I should look.

My most recent engineering position was with Infinite Studios in Alameda, California under the tutelage of Michael Denten, (http://www.digidesign.com/users/user_story.cfm?story_id=8 a long time writer for Mix magazine and the man responsible for over 50 gold records. Before that I learned from my father, Greggory K. Squires (http://www.squiresproductions.com/) who has engineered for Benny Goodman, Peggy Lee, Lou Harrison and many others in his 40 years in the business. I am a Berklee alumnus, and an ex-Apple employee.
