It's pushing 100 here in Texas, and I can't freaking stand it. Here's a song from my band Doomsbride which talks about a possible solution. I still need to do a bit of EQ work, the guitars are a bit too harsh for my ears, but it's mostly done. All comments and critiques and stuff are welcome. That's me on guitar, BTW.

Ouch.
Ok, this rocks, but it's not really all that, um, summery.
The guitar solo is a bit messy, the cymbals are a little hissy, the end fade is timed wrong, but otherwise sounds good.

Okay, maybe it's more 'destruction of summer'-y. We threw a mic on the kit, one on the guitar, and went for it. It's tough to play lead with our drummer. He has a tendency to drop snare hits and when you're expecting a one and get nothing, it'll throw you off. The end fade's only there to cover up a massive flub... there's actually a couple of more minutes on the song. It's only a demo, so screw it.
Heurh!
