that's not as bad as "Charles In Charge"

"....a new boy in the neighborhood, lives downstairs and its understood"

after that I insert alot of innuendos, dirty words and charles-involved-in-deviant-behavior lyrics....

the best part is passing along those bad tunes that get stuck in your head to someone else you know and let them go thru that pain....

pay it forward.

Rockford files them song is way cool. So is Hill Street Blues and, of course, everyone's favorite, Miami Vice. But that was Jan Hammer.

That was when real musicians were, old, fat, and bald. Kinda' like my friend, Phil Collins. Ya!

I've never been in a band that didn't at least attempt the Rockford theme song. I would never play with anybody unfamiliar with tv themes. It's that important to me.

I want charles in charge of me

Post by winky dinglehoffer » Wed Jul 16, 2003 10:01 am

Isn't that the way the song ends?
I went through a brief, sick fascination with this show (never saw it first run--reruns only)--there's all this not so subtle subtext about man-man love bubbling close to the surface. Anybody remember in the intro where Charles is lying in bed & Willie Ames jumps on top of him? & wasn't there an episode where Willie dresses up in a hot dog costume? Oh, that's subtle!

I always theorized that Willie was constantly(yet unsuccessfully) trying to get Charles to recognize his true nature.
Then they could have had a spinoff called "Willie loves Chachi"--or, in keeping with the subtle(as a hammer)innuendo, "Chachi loves Willie."

I'll stop now.

When I get the Cheers theme song in my head, I want to drink a lot.

But, I can rock out to Hawaii 50 all the day.
