for anyone still looking for tape:
apparently www.tapetape.com has 'hundreds' of new reels left. i just ordered some 1" 456 yesterday...dirt cheap too. I know they get some slack here but the guy seemed pretty nice on the phone. I guess I'll see when the tape shows up. |

Why wouldn't they make 1/4"? Are they just planing on making 2"? It would seem to me that 1/4" is the most common tape used. I always see more reels or 1/4" at stores than any other size. |

| i got a few reels of "one pass" 1" 456 from tapetape.com a couple years ago. they definitely had splices in them and were so old, they flaked oxide like crazy and definitely got stuck on my tape guides from time to time. proceed with caution. |
