What are you using for surge protection?

I was wondering what folks out there recommend for AC surge protection that won't mess up the AC current for audio computing.

i'd like to know, too.

is a fuhrmann power distributor decent enough for a home studio rack?

I've got an APC UPS1000 that my rig is powered on. Mostly I just have it for the backup incase I lose power and want to save what's down so far.
