dp4 bounce to disk issue.
so im having the reoccuring issue with the bounce to disk function.
the problem is that it creates a stereo audio track but it comes out completely flat, as in no audio, no waveform, nothing.
i have all of my tracks set to main 1,2 for the exception of drum tracks bussed to an aux track.
does anyone know what the problem might be?

Re: dp4 bounce to disk issue.
if you havent already tried, try selecting all the audio in one of the editing windows (not the individual soundbite window but a window like sequence editor). i know if you have only one track selected it will only bounce one track so in order to protect myself against my own haste, i make it part of the routine to select everything before a bounce.

Read the dialog window before you bounce to disc. You have to choose "main outs" as the output source. Perhaps for some reason it's still set to the aux track you used on your drums.

What works better and has a stunning effect on the audio quality with DP is recording all of your tracks down to a stereo track manually and exporting that out from the soundbites window. I couldn't belive the difference when I tried this.

HMMMMMMMMMMMM!
Interesting

Call me skeptical, but I don't see the difference. It's all math, no hardware. What works better and has a stunning effect on the audio quality with DP is recording all of your tracks down to a stereo track manually and exporting that out from the soundbites window. You're not supposed to see a difference you're supposed to hear one. The algoithems used in the programming are different for bounceing than recording. Anyway it sounded better and more alive to me.Call me skeptical, but I don't see the difference. It's all math, no hardware.
