Weird recording dream- do I lust for my mother?

The other night I had a dream that I was to record Janis Joplin, who was in fact not dead but just laying low, until now. I had her band set up in the live room and she was in the control room with me and my entire family. It was like I was gonna show my parents and grandparents that this recording thing was really important. Well then, Janis starts getting warmed up with her band, and it sounded really cool. So I went looking for the perfect mic, for her. Thats when the dream turned bad! I spent way WAY too much time looking through my mics to find some dream mic or something and Janis and my whole family is looking at me like 'what a fuck up' I was looking around and everything was totally perfect, except for my mystery mic.

Anyway, I need to record more and worry about gear less.

Anybody have any funny recording dreams?

I had a dream once that Annie Lennox showed up and reminded me that we had made a record together, that I had totally forgotten about. We sat down and she played it for me and it was fucking amazing!!

So cool....

Too bad I couldn't just wake up and "download" all the music that existed in finished form in my head onto a recorder.

I've had tons of dreams like the one above, but usually I'm mixing a live show, or trying to set up to play guitar in a show and I get lost and distracted trying to plug in cables, etc. The show inevitably never happens...

Seek help. If they offer pills sell them on eBay and insist on therapy. Nobody should have to tolerate dreaming about Boy George, take your mental health more seriously from now on, i can't believe you're just letting this slide.

No, I say get the little kids to hold up placards with a few different colors, and then drill them like a half-time show in a football stadium, and the whole sea of them would spell out different things... "SAVE QUANTEGY"... then you could get the little kids in the dreams working for good political goals.
