Holas,
Just got the WAV back from my mastering guy in London this morning. I've chopped it up and encoded it, and now you can listen, if you're so inclined. I'll warn you straight up front, it's pounding 4/4 techno. This demo was recorded straight off gear (NO SOFTSYNTHS) into my legal copy of Ableton Live 4; 22 tracks of audio mixed down. This was my first real multitracked project ever, so be gentle.
Gear used: Roland SH-101, Waldorf Pulse Plus, Akai MPC1000, Mackie CR-1604 mixer, Nord Micro Modular, Korg ER-1, Ensoniq DP/4+, Digitech Studio Quad, DBX166XL, BBE 422A, some stomp pedals and misc. special sauce...
The plan is to build a CDEXTRA-type CD with these four tracks as CD Audio, and a second partition with MP3's, video clips, images and text (namely, booking and contact info). I'm hunting for a Canadian CD duplicator service now, any leads would be appreciated. I'm not interested in buying over the border; customs can be jerks about that sort of thing..
01. Collaborate (7m15s) - Collaborate... and LISTEN!
02. Complex (6m8s) - YOU ARE INCONSISTANT
03. Seamripper (6m15s) - That's just the drugs talking...
04. Channel58 (6m39s) - 57 Channels and nothin' on...
If, like me, you would prefer to listen to the demo as a single MP3, please download this MP3 instead:
ALL FOUR TRACKS (26m19s) - Collaborate, Complex, Seamripper and Channel58
As always, FEEDBACK IS WELCOME!! Good or bad, it'll help me get better.
Heh - now, back to working on my set for Saturday night in Calgary... _________________ http://mux.ca <-- techno lives here. |
