Re: question about a mac
I've run a bunch of stuff through Virtual PC with hardly a glitch. But for anything that could crash and lose music I stick to native OS. W/ Virtual PC running, I get a little slowdown and temp monitor goes up from a max temp of 48 C to 55 C or so. I'm running it on a dual 1 GHz G4 w/ OSX.

According to this forum you may want to minimize how much work you do with it. What speed processor are you running?
Re: question about a mac
There is an emulator for 30 dollars, but I think you have to have your own copy of windows. Go to www.iemulator.com. I was thinking of getting this one since I already have a copy of windows.
Re: question about a mac
i'm not saying it won't work. it's just a bad idea. using a mac to do a pc job is just silly. pc's are awfully inexpensive. and can do the work properly if such is the case. if this is just for one project. hammer it out. carefully. saving often and backing up regularly. if you plan on future work. get the right computer for the job or buy the mac software equivalent.
