oh my word, Fat Tire is one of the nicest things I have ever tasted. that was in Houston. so I get back to Canada to discover they don't distribute East of the Mississippi. those Rat Bastards.

so, I drown my sorrows with:

Liberty Ale and Anchor Steam Ale from San Francisco

both available in the better LCBO liquor stores in Ontario
and, when in Nashville:

Young's double Choclate Stout from England

served at the Beer Seller, and the Flying Saucer
just tried that double chocolate for the first time at the Saucer the other night! It was pretty good, but i ended up in the Yazoo Porter and couldnt get off it.

Ta-da! You got it! Taken from the flats next door. That's the "Abbey Road Cam" on their website in the bottom left corner.

I had a Paulaner Salvator for the first time a few months ago, and I think I'm in love...

I am a fan of the newcastle and sierra navada as well.

But I usually drink those beers on special occasion.

has anyone tried the flying dog beers. the labels are illustrated by the same guy that did the illustrations for fear and loathing in las vegas. pretty good beer, too.
