Portland Gear Sale March 5th

Post by TapeOpLarry » Sat Feb 12, 2005 8:16 pm

My pal Mike Everheart (who repairs a lot of gear in Portland) is having a yard sale.I'll be out of town so there will be stuff left.

Well, the time has finally come to part with these dusty relics that have been
piling up over the years, and make some room in my garage for other projects.
As a way of saying 'thanks' to the clients who have used my services over the
years, I am offering these items in a private sale before I make them available
to the general public or put them up on Ebay.

Among the items available: Urei LA-3 and LA-4 compressors; Langevin discrete
mic preamps; DBX 160 compressor; Gates Level Devil tube compressor; Shure Level-Loc;
Spectrasonics 610 limiter; DBX 900 rack with various compressor, gate, and EQ
modules; RCA DX-77 mic; CBS Labs Audimax and Volumax comp/limiters; various
other EQ's and compressors, 1/4" patchbays; racks; and piles of other goofy
tube and solid state stuff for studio gearheads who like to tinker.

Pricing: I will have some of the items marked with a price that I have set
from recent market information. The first buyer to offer that price gets the
item, otherwise I will take lesser bids and sell to the highest bidder if that
bid is close enough to the listed price. Other items will be unmarked and available
for wheeling and dealing, and I will be willing to make package deals to get
this stuff out of my garage. As always, cash will be king, and I will accept
checks from known parties.

I want you to be happy with any purchase you make: On complete units, I will
provide a quick bench test on request to make sure the unit is operational before
you buy. Should the unit fail within 30 days after the sale, I will refund
your money on return of the defective unit, or repair the unit for you at no
charge. On components and non-functioning units, sales are final, unless stated
otherwise on bill of sale.

This sale will take place on Saturday, March 5, 2005 from 10AM to 4PM, at my
home, 815 North Molalla Avenue, in Molalla. Come early for coffee, or around
noon, and we'll have pizza. Feel free to tell your friends and industry acquaintances
about the sale. If you're not familiar with the area, Mapquest is a good resource.
Please contact me for directions or with any questions at gearman@molalla.net
or phone 503-417-0369.

Regards,

Mike Everhart
