audix D258 module

Post by shakethebeach » Mon Feb 14, 2005 10:33 am

So a friend gave me a module from an old audix console, it's a D 258 that appears to have attenuation, a 3 band sweepable eq, plus a shelving eq that is also sweepable. It also has eq in/out and a polarity reverse. He reported that it was from a nice console, and that it might make a nice recording eq/ chain component. It has the multipin plug, but no wiring diagram or schematic, or anything else. I'm unfamiliar with Audix consoles. Can this be made into a nice recording eq? Are any of you familiar with this, and where on the planet might I come up with info on its power supply needs, and wiring/hookup info. Or is it worth it to try???? Thanks!
