I put this on another forum as an example of the TapeOp ribbon on vocals. But it really belongs here. The backing track is optigan, and the horns are all samples. Also, the subject matter is fictional.

hi inverse. um, do we have the same ribbons? :shock: is that a lot of EQ or did removing the whappi inside make that much of a difference.

I love it. it sounds great. nice guitar too. that's not optigon is it? I've just listened to it 3 times in a row.

Lots and lots of EQ cutting. I guess "judicious" is an understatement. :D

The guitar is real--it's my strat through a Vox ToneLab.
