Huge Studio Space for rent in Brooklyn!

Post by fireproof » Wed Nov 02, 2005 8:30 am

After an Amazing 8 year run I am closing my studio Fireproof Recording and Moving to Los Angeles where Fireproof will continue in my new house that already has a studio built in to it.
The space will be avail for rent December 1st
the studio is about 2500 sq feet
It is in an old 1870's firehouse in Red Hook
I built a floated soundproof room with a big glass window that looks into control room that is 18 by 13 with high ceilings for vocals, gtrs etc
the drum room is insane hardwood floors and 14 foot ceilings and can be seen on my website www.fireproofrecording.com

I recorded the new clap your hands say yeah record at Fireproof and have had Pj Harvey,
J Mascis, Clem Snide etc come record and they loved it.
lots of mojo
The space has to be seen tons of light. the control room has huge windows
and is 25X 13 with 14 foor ceilings
big kitchen and lounge
nice desk, chair, air conditioner and fridge included if you want them
very secure and safe location.
2500$ including gas heat
the lease will be up in march and I expect some increase.
you would be leasing from my landlord who has the downstairs of the firehouse for his
shop who is great.
he will want to do a credit check etc.
email me it is going to be listed by a realtor soon and will go in the next 2 weeks.
It is hard for me to leave the space and it would make me very happy to see it still be used as a studio.
I spent 20k building and soundproofing
this is a steal in this overpriced market
you can make noise 24/7
