OK, well I bought a Joe Meek VC-1... and I tried it on everything... and it didn't do it for me, even though I had every reason to believe it would be fun!

It was not a nice and clean as my Syteks, nor as interesting as my OpAmp/Tube modded Bellari... off it went to EBay, where it sold at asking in less than 24 hours! Someone must love 'em!

(and I made a little $$ on the deal-- SWEET!)

Love my VC3Q; it's a little dirty, and you have to watch the settings on the opto-pressor (I can make it pop badly by singing too loud) but I have to say again, it's my favorite over my VTB1, TPS2 and old-school Mackie 1202 for vocals.
