a bunch of stuff from my studio was stolen a few months ago...in process of building it back up. things i'm looking for:

beyer m201 (looking to pay about $150)
beyer m380 (regular or tg. more $ for non-tg. i will pay fair price or a bit more. name it.)

let me know also if you know someone who will work on an Ampex 350 in nyc...

also looking for md421s (2). I'm not hurtin for these so looking to spend $200 or less. Beat up is fine.

Full Compass sells new M201's for around $179.
I know enough to know that I don't know what I am doing.

thanks for the tip...that's not much over used price!
Anyone notice a big difference between the regular and TG versions of these? I recall them being fairly similar, but a lot of the beyer TG versions are drastically different...

$179 equates to around ?149. Which makes it ?9 cheaper than it is in Germany

I have one of each. I can't say I can hear any huge difference

Yeah. Full Compass also sells Sure SM7's for $319. That is usually what you see them for used, plus you get a warranty. Some of their prices are pretty good.

full compass seems like a crazy deal going, last week I bought a sm7 and a 609 for under $400, crazy good deal. I dont buy much "new" gear, but wish I knew about them a while ago for sure.
