Rock 'n' Bowl lives! New Orleans is alive!

Post by Spy Boy » Tue Nov 08, 2005 7:31 am

Despite rumors to the contrary, Rock 'n' Bowl will be reopening November 10 with a preformance by Snooks Eaglin. Thank you to the many friends in the TapeOp community who have showed their love and concern for New Orleans during this tragedy. The city is beginning to bounce back, and as expected, the heartbeat is coming from the musicians and artists. Other clubs now open include the Maple Leaf, Snug Harbor and le Bon Temps Roule.

Great news. I had read not long ago that the owner was contemplating not reopening because of the damage to the main floor, but this is great to hear.
