"It's Here" - for fans of Radiohead/Coldplay/U2

This is a song I wrote and recorded with my band The Envy Corps. I did all the tracking, and a good friend of mine, Matt Sepanic, did the mix. All tracking was done with a Digi002, the mix was done on HD with a 40 channel SSL board (I am not sure of the model, unfortunately).

I am curious as to what you all think, also if you have any questions about the tracking in particular I would love to share.

The left panned guitar was a '76 Explorer through a mid-90's AC30 reissue, the right was a USA Tele through a '66 AC30 head into a Blue loaded 2x12.

Very cool song. My only comment would be to automate the vocal from the intro to where it kicks in. The vocal gives away the mix at the beginning and needs to be smaller like the music in the background. Then when everything comes in it should go to where you've got it. Really nice all around.

Yeah, I agree. This mix is still being fixed...it's in rotation at the CC Alternative station here and the DJ told us to up the vocal quite a bit.
