It's a little easier to talk about the ins and outs of gear and let that lead to reminiscences, triumphs and tragedies, there's just more to talk about.

"Listening To Music," I mean what the hell does that mean? Not even Sissy Hankshaw could find a controversy with that.

You know what? I kind of like that this forum is slow. I think it's a drag that people are so confused by it that they're posting stuff that should clearly go here in other forums, but other than that, I kind of like it. Maybe it's just too cool for most people or something.

Be very very careful what gauntlets you throw...

i think this section will pick up. The board's only a few days old, after all. Originally it was, what, three threads--all on albums or acts I wasn't familiar with. Now there's some stuff I can chime in on (sorry, folks). As it expands, so will the number of people who can contribute.

Although, Sissy Hankshaw would probably disagree with you.

You're likely correct.

Actually, at this point TapeOpCon and Tape Op Magazine are the slowest forums. In a way that's good, in another way it's sad!

I've overlooked this forum until now. I'm glad to finally have a place to post all my bizarre little song observations.

It's easier to just blame the gear rather then the ears.

Sucks for them but it's good that we know the real secret...that getting a couple three new CD's is way more inspiring & cheaper then that shiny new box!

I'd rather see a smaller forum, it's a better hang IMHO.

I kind of miss those Jeff Robinsons jokes.
