Do you have a Pro VLA, drew? Garges turned me on to it, I love it. It's cheeper than that.

It needs to be more than $575 though. can I purchase it with options which will raise the price to 575?

I'm selling a compressor for exactly $577.50 so it's right in the middle of your price range. What could be better??? It's pretty rare so I don't think anyone here has heard of them (and I don't think you should bother to search online for info or pricing). It's called a RNC.

You will need to make payment in person with a wheelbarrow full of unmarked, non-consecutive numbered wheat pennies.

Hurry, it's going to go fast.

Is this one of those things where your great-uncle's is giving you this money in his will only if you can find a compressor to buy with it that is in that precise price range? I hate when that happens.

man, you beat me to it.
I LOVE this compressor and track EVERYTHING through it on the way to PT at a Low level and it sounds a LOT like Tape Compression.
Mixdown it takes care of the kick, or a mono OH or the main vocal really nicely.

I bet the TLA-50 would be nice, but I wouldn't trade my DBX 160's for anything, a little cheaper too..

i wasn't really concerned with weather it was a good or bad compressor. it did happen to be a good one. i just wanted to find a compressor that fit the requirement. witch, i didn't.. but it was as close as i could get.. and is worth the extra 9$. if thats allowed.. a 5$ range is a pretty small number to hit.

Buy the ART Pro VLA and stock up on like $280 worth of NOS Philips 12AT7WC tubes.

They absolutely Rock with the Pro VLA.

Wait, including shipping? Man, you didn't say that before. Back to the drawing board.
