Is there an explanation for the $5 bullseye that I missed? I'm a bit curious....

if you can't scrape up the last $5 for a *real* compressor then you might as well stick with your behringer. :roll:

OK, OK, so I already said the DBX160, but I just think this compressor is totally being overlooked here. It's not like your 166's or your 266's, it's a 160!! It's become my favorite comp on bass, sounds damn good on vocals, and tame's a wild snare drum like nobodies business..

Don't be fooled by the price, you'll find at least one in almost every studio, and they still get used even next to $3000 compressors.

I have a ProVLA. I use it, but if it were stolen I don't think I'd replace it. My 160's would be back in a split second.
