Cannon suspenderz are a cheap knock off of the rims stuff, but I have no idea how well they are made. Google Cannon Suspenderz and you can find them, but I don't think they have anything for floor toms. _________________ [Asked whether his shades are prescription or just to look cool]

Pearl & Gibralter make air suspension floor tom feet that are better than the RIMS mount. The problem with the RIMS floor tom system is that they tend to rattle & buzz. Also you need the next bigger diameter case to accomadate the RIMS system. I play GMS drums & they have a much better system than RIMS but I don't think they sell them after market.

Hi there. I'm a newbie, and I'm SO EXCITED to feel useful on my FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL!!
heh-heh.
Pearl makes rubber 'suspension feet' for floor tom legs. They work great and cost close to nothing. They can put a floor tom within 'aural' sight of a RIMS mount... maybe 50-80% as good as RIMS? Quite popular. They look like... a teardrop with a half-hole cut out. Or something. |
