My New Room Is Almost Done! (lots of pics)

Image

Had to share this. A building down the street exploded and burst into flames. This was the view from my room!

Image

Here is Jordan working on the room. Our building is really old and not at all square, thusly, framing walls and hanging drywall is a huge challenge.

Image

Here's the Hornung nestled into its new spot.

Image

Here is a shot of the reorganized big room. Looks much better finally!

Image

To the left of the drum riser.

Image

The door from the new room to the big room. A few more coats of paint and some trim around the door frame and its done! The isolation is quite good and you get a perfect sight line to the drummer.

Here's the view from behind the kit.

And into the new room from the big room. Connecting to the little room is the lounge and kitchen.

Well the studio is about a year and a half old, this room is just an addition. There are other pics here:

Sometimes when people need to go buy some tools they also pay us a visit.
