Is there a kit available for Ruby Amps...? mainly a nice circuit board to work on?

it's really easy. i teach high school kids how to make them-- these kids have no prior experience and we generally complete them within two two-hour sessions. This is with each kid making their own, all at the same time. If they can do it, you can. What'll make it easier is getting perfboard with fairly large holes, so the pins from the opamp stick out more. That can make a big difference.
