Pro Tools Digi Core Audio Manager

I use a digi002, but I'm having real trouble playing stuff from safari and other browsers, through the core audio manager. The only application that reliably works through the core audio manager is itunes. Quicktime, and realplayer work occasionally, but i just can't get it to play anything from the internet. Anyone know why this might be?

evil digidesign. bad digidesign. Why is it the new core audio driver has twice as many problems as the old one? Only their marketing department can tell us....

I know this wasn't helpful, but I don't have an answer and I felt like complaining. If it makes you feel any better everybody seems to have similar problems.

Funny. This is EXACTLY the thing I was bitching about the other day!

I never really even tried it, because in OS9, trying to use digi hardware for ANYTHING but protools seemed to guarantee a hard freeze...

Then I tried it, and had problems... Oof. scared me away from using digi hardware for anything but protools again for the moment.

yep i just switched back to the internal audio device
stupid...this is 2005
