Post by Catoogie » Fri Dec 02, 2005 8:00 am

Anyone have any suggestions for a relatively inexpensive external CD burner for my laptop?

Thanks

I've had nothing but good experiences with plextor drives.

I have an Iomega ZipCD drive (USB) which is a couple of years old and only 4x, but cool.

My Sanyo IDE bit the dust last week while open and my son startled me into hitting it with my knee...

I used the ZipCD until (yesterday) I bought a Sony DRU-800A.

It is slow, but works well, and if not the smallest, is indestructible.

You can probably get it or similar very cheap, under US$20, like here and here.

I mix with olive juice.
