JoeMeek SixQ Iron Hum
JoeMeek SixQ Iron Hum
I've got a loud hum when engaging the transformer on my SixQ (Iron switch). Any ideas?

Is the hum in the audio? I ask because I have a bunch a equipment that produce humming (likely from power transformers) that I can hear in the control room but it doesn't affect the audio going through the units. My old altec stuff is the worst for this but the audio is always clean (or as clean as you get with Altec gear).
It passes hum.
When Iron is not engaged, no hum - monitored or recorded
When Iron is engaged, hum - monitored and recorded
Sounds like I need to open it up and look at input transformer.
