Student Film

Post by @?,*???&? » Mon Oct 12, 2009 10:29 pm

One of my students just got his Bachelors degree from Wayne State University and did a student film on the recording industry. I did not know at the time what kind of footage he was getting, but we did have some good Detroit beer at the Traffic Jam brewpub talking about it. There are two other instructors from the Wayne State University recording program and a colleague of mine at Schoolcraft college chiming in on the important themes.

Consider the scope of this as a 'student project'. It appears to have come together quite well.

I just watched part 1. It was pretty well done, but ironically the audio mix is distracting. I hope the film maker didn't graduate with a bachelor's degree in audio or film, because somewhere along the way he or she should've been taught about low pass filters for bed tracks.

That's exactly what I thought.

And about deinterlaced video.
Problem? Sounds fine to me.
