rigid fiberglass: where to buy?

Anyone know of someoone that carries rigid fiberglass in or around San Francisco?

Look in the yellow pages under 'insulation materials'. Last time I bought 703 it was 50 cents a sq/ft.
btw- I made some of Ethans diy bass traps and mid/high absorbers. They work fantastic and are fairly inexpensive to make.

There's a national company called SPI which carries it. There is one in san francisco.

The key thing with rigid fiberglass is that you won't find it in a retail shop (i.e. Home Depot et al). It's only available at contractor suppliers. However, many of them will sell to you if you show up at their doorstep.

Let your fingers do the walking. Look up under "Insulation", start calling, and see if they have it.

Try a local HVAC or roofing company and don't be afraid to try Roxul instead of OC. The Roxul (or any similar rockwool product) has the same, if not better, absorption specs than 703 and cost 1/2. Good luck! :D
