Aptrigga with Pro Tools LE on a Mac G5 dual 2.0?

Post by taperocket » Wed Dec 14, 2005 6:18 pm

Hi, I just purchased aptrigga and I can't seem to get pro tools to recognize it, it should seeing that it's AU compatable. I dragged the 2 icons over into the components and VST folder like the instructions say but nothing shows up under audiosuite in pro tools. Any help? Please....

Trying to find info about this is hard to do. Doing a Google search for aptrigga and Pro Tools brought me to a few other message boards but the postings were from over a year ago. Something discussed was VST wrappers and it isn't in the audiosuite but somewhere else... kinda confusing when I tried to find a solution especially since I don't have the plug-in and program in front of me to troubleshoot.

Read this:

Maybe it'll help, maybe not. It was the closest to anything you asked that I could find.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Pro Tools doesn't support AU, does it? I'm not a Pro Tools guy. The Aptrigga website says they are working on the Pro Tools version. In the meantime, you'll have to try the VST to RTAS wrapper they talk about on Gearslutz, but again, not my area.

Yup, that's pretty much what I guessed regarding the post I referenced.
