wooden wand and the vanishing voice .....

Post by sthslvrcnfsn » Sun Dec 18, 2005 11:43 am

anybody really listened to this stuff? i've found maybe 10 of there albums and can't put a few of them down. i suppose with stuff like this it's going to be hit or miss - i can't imagine there was too much arranging and pre-determination of songs. sort of hit-record-and-make-noise.

what's the freaking STORY? they are on like a billion different bedroom labels, with mostly cd-r releases it seems like (with a vinyl or two thrown in). acid freaks in a living room i suppose ...

jim!

i don't even take drugs to listen to it, i'm totally serious about liking it.

i've seen those guys at a few various houses/lofts. hit and miss, a bit "schticky" at times. they can kinda give off a "playing at being outre musicians" sense, but they're usually pretty enjoyable.
