Pls help: Trying to reach people who worked on LOVELESS!

Post by yetimike » Tue Dec 27, 2005 11:31 pm

Hey there--

My name's Mike and I'm old pals with Larry Crane, from when he was in the awesome band Vomit Launch. Anyway, for my first post I'd like to do something really ridiculous and ask all y'all's help with tracking down any of the following people who worked on My Bloody Valentine's LOVELESS.

I'm writing a book on the album for Continuum's 33 1/3 imprint, and I'd love to talk to just one more person who worked on the album in the studio, especially this Alan Moulder fellow. Gotten in touch with a few engineers already, and have good stories, but the list of folks I've not spoken with remains rather large. So, if anyone has contact information for any of the following producer/ engineer peeps, it would be most appreciated!

Alan Moulder - engineer
Dick Meaney - engineer
Anjali Dutt - engineer
Nick Robbins - engineer
Ingo Vauk - engineer
Andy Wilkinson - engineer
Darren Allison - engineer
Nick Addison - engineer
Charles Steel - engineer
Tony Falter - engineer
Hugh Price - engineer
Adrian Bushby - engineer
Pascale Giovetto - engineer
Nick Savage - engineer

I would probably not be an enigneer if I hadnt discovered that record. Loveless is on a short list of records I'd say that about.

I dont know anyone on your list but could probably get you in touch with the drummer if you havent done so already. Feel free to email me.

Maybe a long shot, but if you head over to http://www.velvetrope.com, and post a request there (which people often do post similar contact requests) there's occasionally some well connected people who frequent the board amongst the trolls. Maybe they could help, too.

Maybe I should moderate this board.

The end all, best of the internet site to contact ANY producer/engineer is www.rpmdirect.com

Over 2000 names cross-referenceable to projects they've worked on.

Jerimaya Grabher has put together an amazing site.
