Recorded all of these songs in my basement on a yamaha aw2816.
I used a bunch of BS dynamic mics and one AT3035.
needle - me singing and playing one of the guitars
at night - I play the bass
kamikaze survival manual - I play one of the guitars, I recorded that part upstairs and took full advantage of the hardwood floors, the old Fender champ, and the bathroom tile
phosgene - I play bass on the recording, but not when we play this live.
Since we recorded this we've been through 1*10^18 drummers. And I finally realized that buying my ex-wife out of my house = I could move the band to the finished part of the basement. Woot. Priceless. I can't wait to start recording The Blots over there. I'll post a link to the thank you, spaceman stuff I did over there in another thread.

Eric,
I love hearing this kind of music. About the only thing that threw me a touch was in the Kamikaze song the bass gets a bit out of control occasionally. Looks to be real easy to tweak. Perhaps its the myspace hifidelity player. Anyhow, enjoyed your songs. If you get a chance take a listen to a few tunes I have on my little myspace page
