the signal path:
- burns double six 12 string electric - tuned drop D, capo 2nd fret, bridge pickup, volume and tone on 10
- boss ccs-3 compressor
- mxr 10 band (mids & highs boosted to comp. for lower tube amp volume)
- arion stereo phaser (turned off, used to split signal)

split 1:
diaz tremadillo
fender pro jr amp (with my special mods)
celestion greenback speaker
r0de nt2 mic
langevin am4 preamp
motu 896hd
adobe audition

split 2:
fender pro jr amp (with my special mods)
celestion alnico blue speaker
shure sm57 mic
langevin am4 preamp
motu 896hd
adobe audition

no plugins were harmed.

buddy miller tone is the goal... how close do you think I got? any other comments?

Id day you definently have a full sound there...dont know who buddy miler is though (judging by the sound I would say a classic rock figure?).

buddy miller is an icon of americana / (good) country rock (as opposed to nucountrypop)... he has several fantastic albums of his own, as well as his work with emmylou harris for the past 10 odd years as her guitarest - he also has his own studio, and has worked with jim lauderdale and steve earle.

i think its a great guitar sound..if used in a sparse song it could possibly benefit from some low end umph..
