Recorded in the master bedroom of the guitarist's house with a Fostex VF160EX and a bunch of Shure mics. The quality is half-ass, but damn we had fun doing it. We need to work on our guitar recording techniques. Too twangy and muddy, in my opinion. Not sure how to go about fixing that for future recording..

Autumn Instrumental with a big synth lead - Korg Triton LE ftw!
The album itself has 10 tracks all recorded in the same manner. We're pretty pleased with it. TapeOp has taught us a good bit about mic placement and mixing. I wish we would have listened about the mastering rule, though.. apparently, someone thought it was a good idea to master these songs on a home stereo. grrr
Oh yeah - band name is The Nightwatch. We're from the New Orleans area and this is our second album to date. The album name is "Seconds" and will be available later in the month. It just went off to duplication at discmasters last week.
Two songs from our new album
