MXL V67i

...I would love a versetile set of mics.....

@$149....is this a flexible pair???

I am looking for a utilitarian type of mic...It is VERY intriguing to have 2 mics in one.....

These are similar, but also improved version of the V67g......@$149 it is hard to pass up, and even go wrong right?..I am not expecting it to sound stellar...

Unless of course the V67g is shite...any Opinions on this mic, or the new version???

cheers, kt

The V67G is fantastic. Best value mic I ever used.

Interesting. I think the V67 is a semi-cool mic. Not the most utilitarian thing out there, but it has a unique sound and really great sensitivity. I find mine useful for a lot of things that other MUCH more expensive mics don't do as nicely. I'd actually like to play with a pair of them at some point.

The reason I'm so enthusiastic is that the V67 is THE mic for my voice. That's the only thing I use it for...and of course not everybody has my voice. I think I got the suggestion from rodgre....I believe he likes it on his voice, too.

It works nicely on my voice, too - a nasally baritone.
