And Fox, if your watching, I think "Bonetown" should be on at 8pm EST/7pm EST so the kids can all catch it.
perhaps a sticky with a voting option would be more practical in this instance?

look on the bright side, at least the producers girlfriend isnt trying to sleep with you whilst the client knows but the producer doesnt.
And i was the assistant on that session.

There is really only one option here -

Get a big bottle of red wine (Cabernet will work) Turn your inhibitions down by about 12 db. Pipe Serge Gainsburg in through your kickass monitors. Allow one thing to lead to another. Record it, then overdub it onto the bridge of the song a la "Rocket Queen" by Guns n roses.

:)

Incidentally, i got involved with a client once. The next thing you know, its 5 years later and we just adopted a cat.

Next thing ya know, you're writing another "Billie Jean".

update:
i think the situation has taken care of itself (albeit in a less than ideal fashion).
yep, a case of pbr and a failed attempt to politely explain why desire is an overrated album (which quickly escalated into her screaming about how pretentious i am and me laughing) later, and i'm pretty sure she doesn't want to do me OR make a record with me.
which sucks. but, like i said, at least it's taken care of.
oh yeah, and my friend prank called her from my phone.
people skills indeed.

i think it'll be ok.
i'm pretty well-known for pabst-inspired attrocities, so she can't really take it too personally.
hey, pabst inspired attrocities would be a really good name for a really bad album!

are you asking whether you should use sex to get work?

isn't that answer already clear?

If you say "no" to the sex and that means she won't work with you, then that's that.
otherwsie, you're just haggling over the price.

one question one answer.

If she was really hot would there even be this thread? or would it be
"i want to do my client please help"

my brother Is a ceramic tile installer. when he was 25 He was doing a job for a very attractive woman a few (16) years older than himself.
well they hit it off and guess who didnt have to pay for their new kitchen floor.
but it turns out she was a psycho that didnt want a free tile job. she wanted his soul

maybe not your case exactly but you saw where i was going.
and remember people are attracted to power and everything that leads to it
