...do you ever go back and listen to what the previous owner recorded? I got a Tascam 22 on 'bay recently and one of the reels had a HORRIBLE rendition of "somewhere over the rainbow" on it. :cry:

haha. yeah i got a teac 4010 from my dad - 2 track consumer (but back in the day high end) 1/4" deck that I fixed up. He had a few reels - a mix of recording stuff from he and his roommates' early 1970's parties -- saying all funny stuff *yikes* with people at the party making weird noises with the tape echo. then a party mix of some stones i hadn't heard, and billy joel *extra yikes*.

scarred for life by some of the party clips.
