Did you guys hear about the new iMax movie that opens this week?

Those little Mars rovers from a few years back had iMax cameras on them!!!! Disney has released the movie.

Holy crap!!!!!!!

Space is, but Mars isn't. Don't know how well sound travels there, but Mars does have an atmosphere.

They didn't really have imax cameras on them, they just took enough pictures from the same perspective and then stitched them all together. No actual video footage was shot on Mars, just lots of stills combined with lots of computer power. But it still sounds really cool. I'll certainly go see it at my local imax theater.

Yes, I did hear about it. Unfortunately, it costs $35 to get into the theatre to see it.
