Ashly e series (CL-50e, SC-50e) and CL-100

Post by workshed » Mon Jan 30, 2006 9:38 pm

Anyone know about these models? I may be able to pick one or all of them up. Worth getting? They seem to be newer versions of the originals.

In one case, the CL-100, they use a telephone cord connector for the power supply and the units come with no power supply. Any ideas if those are easy to replace?

power supplies can be bought for about 35 from bench mark. There is a few Ashly's on ebay right now for real cheap. I just bought a SC50 for 29 dollars BIN. Go check it out. The guy had a CL50 for 50 bucks I think.

Don't know much about the later versions.

Hahaha, that's hilarious! I was totally about to buy that SC50 and you totally scored it before me. Awesome. I hope you dig it. I have been hedging about the CL-100 that guy has, but I can't find much on them and he doesn't have the weird power supplies. I'm sure now that I've announced it to the whole board, they will be gone in a matter of hours, of course.

I actually have a real clean pair of SC-50's. I just could not pass up the deal. Shipping was steep. I will have about $55 into it. I probably will just turn around and sell it here on tapeop. I just figured someone could use it, so I might as well grab it.

I have a cl-50e, bought it for $50 or so, and I'm happy with it. Keep it around that price point and you can't go wrong!
