Music/guitar related jobs in PDX?

I'm moving to Portland soon (a couple of month) and have been considering leaving music-related business behind permanently since it sure as hell doesn't do your pocketbook much good down here in Fort Worth. But is it any better in Portland? I'm a guitar tech by day but anything involving music is my thing. Engineering, production, session player, you name it and I can do it to some degree. I'm basically just hoping to find something with steady income. Any hope or should I just bail and go work customer service?
