It could quite easily be fine.

The Beyers have very good pop / wind blast protection. You can try this by holding the grill (off the mic!) and puffing through it.

Dents in the grill suggests the owner was careless, but that does not mean it has necessarily been damaged. They don't mind big shocks too badly - remember that thay have small and thick ribbons which are stiffened.

It does worry me that the owner mentioned kick drum, but who knows, maybe they positioned it far outside...

As always, if it sounds good, it is good, but maybe try and compare to another older M260 (new ones have a bass roll-off) and see if yours is missing anything in the sound.
