UA SOLO 610 or Sebatron MAXMUS

Post by DaViDB112 » Fri Feb 10, 2006 12:46 am

hi.I have been considering one of these units to complete my recording setup.
I have quality microphones and monitoring equipment. i record mostly acoustic rock and folk .
Has anyone had experience with either or both of these units .How do they compare or differ to each other in terms of sonic signature and or flexibility?

i have heard the 610 and think it's great, especially for the music that you're doing. nice and full sound, easy to 'go-to'.

i am very much wanting to hear the new sebatron. anyone out there? anyone?

Yeah, I wanna hear about that Maxmus too! This is the first time I've heard about it. Sebatron make great preamps. I've got one of their four channel preamps and it has served up great sound for me on a variety of sources. Recently been using it for drums...OH pair, Snare (w/ 'deep' EQ setting), and outside kick. The sound of ROCK!
