So I've been just running my CP-70 electric piano through my bass rig which is a Plush tube head and an old Jensen 12 inch speaker.
Tone is pretty good but has kind of that "honky" electric guitarish sound.
I need something that makes this thing sound a little more natural.
What are y'all running your CP-70's through ?

Seconded on JBL Eon G2. Have one. Nearly flat response. Loud as judgement day (450 watts -- 300 horn, 150 tweeter). Love mine. Has been banged around soooo many times, and keeps on working.justinf wrote:Thoses Barbettas are sweet. I use powered JBL PA speakers, Eons or Ions, something like that. They're cool too and take a beating.
But they don't do amp tones. You'd need to get a Rat or a SansAmp bass driver or something to give you fuzz if that's what you're looking for.
