Lets talks soldering iron tips.

Post by Dave Nutz » Fri Mar 03, 2006 3:44 pm

So...before you flip out...yes, there is tons of material in past threads about soldering and its general ideas...ive just picked up a Hakko 936, and im thinking about picking up a few tips to have around as spares, and for different things.

my question is...can someone give me a breakdown of Soldering iron tips.

What is considered small or large? What shapes and diameters are ideal for cabling?..PCB soldering?..other applications?
