Never been able to find anything about them before. Good to get them in the same issue as their both ex skaters and make music in the same vein.

Hell yes...Those two I grew up idolizing...Ray Barbie's part on public domain still gets me hyped on "no complys." Oh and that song by McRad...Weakness...If you know what I'm talking about, you're true to the reason ....Anyhow I cant even explain how amazing TapeOp is...What other f ing magazine is going to throw up articles on underground LEDGENDS! I"m so excited to listen in on their music and catch up w/ the 2 of them...

Peace!

I just thought... since it's Ray Barbee, maybe the mail man is a fan and stole it!

My Claim to fame is a young Ray Barbee (I'm guessing it must thave been '86-'87??) came to skate my vert ramp and broke his arm. 6 Months later. He was the hottest street skater ever.

Nicest guy ever too.

Also back in those days I used to skate a ramp is SF where a Tommies brother Tony G. and another guys who's name I'm drawing a blank on ( a famouse BMXer of the day. and brother to famous freestyle skateboarder,Ray Meyers) used to mulit-track on boombox and radio shack mixer together in a small bedroom. Looking back, I think this might have been the first home studio I had ever seen. I remember thinking how cool it was and how much I wanted to be a part of that. Oh the good 'ol days.

I can't wait to read the article. Is this in the new TO?
I have some really horrible gear!!!
